Ravenna, Ohio—Randi Clites, a lifelong resident of Ravenna, today announced her candidacy for State Representative representing Ohio’s 75th District.
Randi has been a fierce advocate for families who have children with medical handicaps and other special needs. She is the Associate Director of the Northern Ohio Hemophilia Foundation and Advocacy Coordinator of the Ohio Bleeding Disorders Council. As a volunteer, she serves as the Vice President of the Board, Cascade Hemophilia Consortium and Chair, Parent Advisory Council of the Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) program, the State Title V Program.
“One of the things I’ve learned in grassroots advocacy is the value of hard work and persistence,” she says. “I led a movement to #SaveOhioCMH in the 2017-18 State budget by engaging parents and stakeholders to share their story as a catalyst to change. My hope is to lead our local community to engage in local, state and national government in the same way.”
